While art is generally based on the artist's personal expression or conceptual thinking, craftsmanship focuses on technique and functionality. Yet these distinctions sometimes blur to the point of intermingling. The exhibition seeks to reveal this porous zone where art and craft overlap, enabling artists to displace the traditional boundaries of certain practices in the service of their artistic imaginations.
Through various media, such as ceramics, textiles, wood and many others, the works presented illustrate both the individuality of the artistic gesture and the meticulous mastery characteristic of craftsmanship. Savoir-faire thus invites us to rethink the links between art and craft, showing how these two universes can converge to create a common language, shaped by the human hand.
