The Dimanche exhibition pays tribute to the collection of the Centre Pompidou, Musée national d'art moderne, with an original itinerary designed in collaboration with internationally renowned artist Maurizio Cattelan.
This session inaugurates a series of lectures, each focusing on an emblematic 20th or 21st century work from the collection, offering an in-depth exploration of art history - mediums, currents, movements... - and revealing the mysteries and subtleties of the works on display.
The first lecture is dedicated to Maurizio Cattelan himself, whose works punctuate the course of Dimanche sans fin. Often associated with provocation, his works in fact reveal a melancholy and poetic depth, making him one of the most influential artists of his generation.
