The Gourmet Village :
A popular and convivial celebration of gastronomy and the Moselle AOC wine
Moselle is getting ready to host the prestigious Michelin Guide 2025 ceremony, with a strong ambition: to make this event a time of celebration and sharing accessible to all.
Much more than a meeting reserved for lovers of fine food, this event will be a popular celebration of good living and good eating, a symbol of the welcoming and festive spirit of Moselle, an invitation to celebrate together the richness of its heritage and traditions.
On Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 March 2025, Metz will become the heart of this festival with the installation of a gourmet village on the Place de la République. More than 80 stands run by local restaurants, winegrowers and craftspeople will offer a complete immersion in the flavours and know-how of the Moselle region.
This major gathering will be marked by a number of highlights, including the traditional Moselle Wine Festival. Visitors will be able to taste and buy exceptional Moselle AOC wines, which bear witness to the richness and diversity of the local terroir, as well as wines from our neighbours in Luxembourg and the Moselle Valley.
As well as recognising Michelin-starred chefs and renowned restaurants, this major public celebration will give everyone the chance to discover and appreciate the region's gastronomic treasures, and who knows, maybe even meet a Michelin-starred chef along the way.

The Michelin Guide 2025 Ceremony
On Monday 31 March 2025, the MICHELIN Guide France selection will be unveiled at a special ceremony.
The event will bring together all the chefs from France's Michelin-starred restaurants, as well as local, national and international professionals and media, to celebrate the Guide's new stars and Special Prizes.
Nearly 1,000 chefs will be on hand to share in this intense moment, which will be broadcast live on the MICHELIN Guide's social networks, making the ceremony a not-to-be-missed gastronomic event.
Moselle, a land of gastronomic excellence
With more than 2,000 catering establishments, including 900 traditional and gourmet restaurants, Moselle stands out for its local talent and quality initiatives.
Its 6 Michelin-starred restaurants are the jewels in the crown.
Inspiring and involving young people
One of the major objectives of the 2025 ceremony is to inspire and involve young people in Moselle and to promote training in the hotel and catering professions.
This event is a unique opportunity for talented young people in training to discover the excellence of these professions, while gaining hands-on experience alongside the best players in the sector.
On 15 October, when Destination Moselle was officially announced as the host region, students from the Dieuze and Metz lycées hôteliers were actively involved in preparing and serving the event. This immersion enabled them to experience the demands and passion of their future profession.
Through initiatives such as this, Moselle intends to use the Michelin ceremony as a lever to pass on the values of excellence, rigour and creativity that characterise these professions.
By involving young people in training and raising awareness of the importance of taste and the quality of local produce, the region is fully committed to preparing the next generation of chefs and hoteliers for the future.
