This tour takes you along the old Route de France ceded to the King in 1661 by the Treaty of Vincennes. It is still known today as the Queen's Road, which dates back to the sumptuous journey of Marie Leszczinska who crossed Lorraine to join her husband, the young King Louis XV, in Fontainebleau.
