At the Cacopardo bakery, it was imagined by company founder Carmelo Cacopardo decades ago. His grandson has brought it up to date with chocolate, coconut and almond variations. The cakes are molded using a cast-iron machine with a hand-operated crank. An exceptional heritage respected and modernized.
