The walk begins with a tour of Lac Symphonie, the water retention basin of the Ruisseau de la Cheneau.
After skirting the golf course and crossing the expressway on a wooden footbridge, a forest trail through the Bois de la Macabée (27 ha), made up mainly of pedunculate oaks, leads to the Grange aux Bois district.
Several paths lead around Lake Ariane, either on foot or by bike. The banks of the lake, rich in wild flora, are home to many birds accustomed to wetlands.
