The Erbsenfels Rock is one of the most beautiful natural curiosities in Pays de Bitche. This magnificent red sandstone rock is also known as the Arch Rock because of its shape formed by the erosion.
The rock has a gaping hole which filters the sun leaving exceptional lighte effects amidst the vegetation.
Situated along the GR532 (long distance footpath), the Erbsenfels is admired by all.
This site can be discovered on foot, by bike or on horseback.

From Hanau Lake: follow the 6km circular walk
From Waldeck Lake: follow the GR532
Note:
This natural site is fragile so is pprotected. climbing is forbidden a s well as walking on the top.
The raven and the peregrine falcon nest on this site between March and th end of July. During this period, we ask you to respect their tranquility and not disturb them.
