This complex is located opposite the Departmental Museum of the War of 1870 and the Annexation and is part of the tour. The Gedenkalle is the most important memorial dedicated to the battles fought around Metz in 1870. In front of the Hall of Remembrance, the Franco-German cemetery has housed numerous funeral monuments since 1873.
