Historic monument or place to visit in ROUSSY LE VILLAGE, on the theme(s) Military interest.
Discover the fascinating building built in 1934, one of only four such structures remaining in Moselle. The blockhouse was a lookout post and part of the Maginot line. It was occupied by border guards to slow down any intrusion and allow time to activate the defence system.
The structure is currently being renovated and will be used for educational purposes and school visits. In partnership with the Association Albert Ungeheur, it will also host permanent and temporary exhibitions.
