Château du Schlossberg

Built in the 11th or 12th century in the shape of a spiral, the feudal castle has been extended over the centuries. Located on the Schlossberg hill, it dominates the town of Forbach and the valleys of the Saar and Rosselle rivers and offers a unique panorama.

The Saareck round tower was built in 1437, at the top of the Saareck Tower and reaches 328 metres. You will have to climb the 118 steps! The Knights' Hall gives visitors an insight into medieval architecture. The Schlossberg park, laid out in the 19th century, has more than 80 different species of trees and remarkable flora.
