On stage, framed by four loudspeakers, a woman converses with those who made up her life, in the form of recorded voices. The ghosts and the living. Those who made her what she is. Those who protected her or led her to the "other place", that of brutality, violence and the unspeakable. How can we not allow ourselves to be defined by our rage, our shortcomings, our traumas? Based in Metz, the Pardès Rimonim company based this show on testimonies and work carried out with educators from the Protection Judiciaire de la Jeunesse in Thionville. Based on subtle sound work, Tu comprendras quand tu seras grand.e tackles the darkest corners of the human soul, but also delivers a message of hope. Yes, it is possible to overcome fate, to tame the "monster in the closet" and become a fulfilled adult. An essential, consoling message.
