A film-concert by the "Annexions" orchestra to mark the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Sarrebourg on 21 November 1944. Adapted by Stanislas Cotton. A family faced with the oppression of an evil neighbour. The scenario makes sense and echoes the war in the Middle East. However, the "Annexions" project, launched in 2022, is intended to be timeless. It is "a fable for peace". It is an initiative by the Lycée Cormontaigne and the Lycée de la Communication in Metz and Polish and German schools, which have come up with this film-concert. As part of the Erasmus+ programme, 120 students from Metz, Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovakia shot the film in Ostrava, based on a script by playwright Stanislas Cotton. The orchestra will be made up of young musicians from all over Europe, including the Lycée Haendel in Berlin, the LJO in Saarbrücken, the conservatoires in Metz, Dijon and Paris, as well as those in Teplice and Opava in the Czech Republic. After Berlin, Prague, Ostrava and Budapest, this show will be presented at the Arsenal in Metz and finally in Sarrebourg.
