Dakka & So Gnawa is a traditional Moroccan music group made up of eight musicians who grew up in the Marrakesh folklore known as "Dakka".
From an early age, they were introduced to the traditional rhythms and melodies that characterize Dakka el Marrakchia, a ritualistic and folkloric form of percussion music originating in Marrakech, Morocco.
Dakka & So Gnawa is known for its festive repertoire, which blends traditional and improvisational elements in interaction with the audience.
The group also distinguishes itself by its traditional outfits, which add an elegant visual touch to their stage performance. The audience is often invited to join in the dancing, creating a warm and festive atmosphere for all involved.
