It is made up of a dozen choristers from a variety of musical backgrounds and directed by Mr André KOGOVSEK.
Sons of working-class European immigrants, Lorraine has been a welcoming land for our expatriate parents, and choral singing has often been a source of comfort and solidarity.
The geographical location of our little town AUMETZ speaks for itself of the importance of this mining and working-class immigration, and we hope to bring you as much warmth in our songs as the people of Lorraine have in their hearts.
The choir sings a capella and in four voices, in a register that includes tenors, baritones and basses.
It performs traditional and popular songs from around the world, in Slovenian, Croatian, Dalmatian, Russian, Italian, Sardinian, Sicilian, English, Gaelic, Basque, Cajun, German, Swedish & French (a little bit). He gives a dozen concerts a year, in Lorraine, of course, but also elsewhere in France (Burgundy, Vienne, Cantal, Nord, Basque Country) and Europe (Ireland, Scotland, Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, Luxembourg, Belgium, Switzerland).
