The first exhibition of this scale in France since the Musée d'Art Moderne in Paris in 2006, it will bring together several series of light sculptures emblematic of the artist's practice in recent years.
Galerie 3 at the Centre Pompidou-Metz, whose walls will be entirely adorned with mirrors, will offer a single view, from one bay window to the next, each letting in natural light to which the artificial light of his works will respond. Visitors will be part of an evolving choreography of reflections and shadows, sounds and tremors. They will discover a series of white neon sculptures floating, suspended in space, for which the artist has translated into neon highly stylized gesture and movement patterns performed by Japanese Noh theater actors.
