Forbach City Center 

Forbach transforms into a true haven of sweet treats for the holidays, celebrating the Moselle tradition of Christmas pastries. Throughout the month, a variety of events enrich this celebration rooted in Moselle culture.

In the city center, the “Contes et Légendes” program will highlight fascinating stories, while the Cinéma Le Paris will show Christmas films for the whole family. The much-anticipated return of Saint Nicholas, parading through the streets on Sunday, December 1, will bring a festive atmosphere to the town. 

Hombourg-Haut City Center

The town offers a range of activities for the whole family, including a Christmas market in Square Jean Derrieux and the castle courtyard, where 27 wooden chalets showcase local products and seasonal specialties like mulled wine and gingerbread. 

The festive mood is enhanced with jazz concerts, fire shows, and creative workshops for children. Of course, Santa Claus and Saint Nicholas will also make appearances. 

A Festive Christmas in Stiring-Wendel

In December, Stiring-Wendel is filled with Christmas magic. In addition to the Christmas market, there are plenty of events and activities: shows, the Saint Nicholas parade, and a visit from Santa Claus.

Sporting Event: The traditional Christmas runs take place on December 8 and offer three races—the Elf Run, the Sack Tour, and the Christmas Run.
