Sarreguemines
The municipality of Sarreguemines is located on the German border.
18 kilometers from Saarbrücken (capital of Saarland), its most of the population is bilingual and this town in Eastern Moselle has close ties to Germany, particularly in terms of culture. One unmissable activity for tourists is the Circuit de la Faïence, which offers an insight into ceramics production. The town has been known for its potteries since the 18th century.
Bitche

Meisenthal Glassworks
Meisenthal Glassworks offers 40,000 visitors a year a chance to discover its glassmaking museum or watch glassblowing demonstrations at the International Centre for Glass Art, which collaborates with a different designer each year to produce a unique Christmas bauble. Immerse yourself in natural grandeur at the former Meisenthal glassworks (1711-1969), a unique place of that melds modernity and tradition. The site’s magnificent Verrière Hall also hosts a regular programme of concerts.
Bliesbruck
Bliesbruck-Reinheim European archaeological park
Bliesbruck-Reinheim European archeological park, straddling the municipalities of Bliesbruck in Moselle and Reinheim in Saarland, is a symbol of French-German cross-border cooperation.
Here, you can discover the remains of a Gallo-Roman town and baths, as well as the tomb of the princess of Reinheim. It is one of the largest archaeological parks in Europe. Each year, it hosts the famous Vita Romana festival, a grand spectacle where visitors come face-to-face with Romans and gladiators.
The site is owned by the Department of Moselle (part of the Passionnément Moselle Sites network).
