At the initiative of the Vosges du Nord Regional Nature Park, a sculpture trail has been created around the ponds in Baerenthal. The aim of the trail is to enhance the value of the wetlands.
Marine Froeliger, an artist, mediator and curator from Reichshoffen, has designed three sculptures that highlight the living world and the biodiversity of our landscapes, using local materials and resources. She designed these works in partnership with Ulrike Trefzer, Fred Lesvens, Kelly Molon and young people from the village.
Marelle, Cohabitons and Contreforme trace a free path between the Natura 2000 reserve and the town hall, seeking a harmonious dialogue between the species and the surrounding spaces.
