Preisch castle's park was created in 1812 in the English informal style to act as a backdrop for the ancient raised keep of the feudal castle. Rare tree species from Luxembourg, double moats crossed by iron footbridges, an artificially aged icehouse all serve to create a romantic atmosphere. All the trees are labelled and there is a booklet of poems to accompany them. Numerous activities take place in the old kitchen garden, now an expressionist topiary garden, and there are various workshops throughout the year.
